Achievements and Prospect of Scientech Innovation of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 50 Years

Abstract: The main achievements mede by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) are reviewed in this paper with stresses on the construction of national agricultural research systems, innovation and development of agricultural sciences and technologies and organization of national and international collaborations and networks. Tremendous progress with important theoretical and applied values made in fields of both researches and technology transfer are compiled and demonstrated. Some strategic targets, major research and development missions and key innovation fields are proposed for the future.
