Abstract: The timely, fast and accurately detecting of mycotoxins in cereals and, thereby, strictly and scientifically regulation and treatment of these contaminants, are the important ways to guarantee grain supply and protect human health. The fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA) based on specific molecular recognition is in particular suitable to screening of mycotoxins in a large number of cereals samples duo to its characteristics of high-through, high-speed and high-sensitivity. This paper reviews the advance in FPIA for the determination of mycotoxins in cereals in recent 10 years and emphatically discussed the emerging trend of FPIA.
