    Call for Papers——Special Issue on Low Carbon and High Feed Efficiency in Animals

    Introduction

    In the context of carbon neutrality, it is particularly important to optimize the forage resource allocation, strengthen the research on key technologies for methane emission, and promote the low-carbon development of animal husbandry.

     

    Topics Covered

    Low Carbon and High Feed Efficiency in Animals Special Issue invites you to contribute a research or review article covering relevant areas such as:

    1. Regulation of dietary energy metabolism pathway to improve the energy utilization efficiency

    2. Nutritional regulation of ruminal methane emission

    3. Optimization of dietary ratios or composition to reduce methane production

    4. Cultivation of high-quality livestock and poultry breeds to reduce methane emissions

    5. Development of feed additives to reduce carbon and nitrogen emissions

    6. Metabolism and regulation of carbon and nitrogen in livestock and poultry

    7. Roles of ruminant microflora in carbon and nitrogen metabolism and efficient utilization of nutrients

    8. Mechanism, pathway and regulation on methane production in rumen

    9. Detection techniques and methods for methane and carbon dioxide emissions

    10. The characteristics of greenhouse gas emissions in global different regions

    1. All full papers should be submitted and presented in English. 

    2. All papers must be submitted online (http://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/asic), and should include the key words“Low carbon” after the title to distinguish them from general submission articles. The format of manuscripts and the information about JIA can be found at: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/20953119.

    3. This special issue will strictly follow the editorial policies of JIA. All manuscripts must pass the journal’s rigorous peer-review process. 

    4. All papers should pay for the publishing fee (CNY600 per printed page).
